8 gamblers busted,4 snatched cars recovered in Landikotal

 LANDIKOTAL: Officials of the Landikotal administration raided on a den in Sadukhel area of Landikotal and arrested eight gamblers on the spot,officials said on Friday.

Political Tehsildar Landikotal Irshad Ali Mohmand told The News that they had received information that a local resident was running a gambling den in Sadukhel area. He said Khasadar force personnel in his command raided the den and
red-handedlly arrested eight persons on the spot. The owners of the den identified as Abid was also arrested and sent them to Landikotal lock up for further official formalities.The other arrested gamblers were identifies as Abar Shah,Abdul Malik,Safirullah,Abdul Sattar,Muhammad Ghani,Saleem,Hazratullah and Aqal Baz.

Meanwhile,political administration launched crackdown against theft and snatched vehicles in Landikotal. Political tehsildar Landikotal, Irshad Ali Mohmand told this scribe that on the first day they have impounded four Suzuki cars and motorcycles which had been smuggled from Afghanistan via ghost routs. It was learnt that all of the seized cars had been snatched in cities in Punjab
