Hashish,ornaments seized at Torkham border


LANDIKOTAL: Authorities at Pak-Afghan border Torkham have foiled a bid to smuggle antiques and hashish and arrested a smugglers, official sources said on Saturday.

The sources said that two Afghan nationals,identified as Ibrahim and Shah Wali residents of Jalalabad were stopped at Torkham border and recovered 4.5 kilograms of  hashish and 4 precious sculptures were recovered from their possession.The hashish and sculptures(ornaments) were being to smuggle from Afghanistan to Pakistan.
The arrested two Afghan nationals were shifted to Landikotal Lock up for further interrogation.
