Helpless man seeks help for treatment of son


LANDIKOTAL: A helpless man has appealed to the Prime Minister, chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa,President of Pakistan,health Minister,private hospitals and philanthropists to help him in getting his son treated.
Afzal Khan, a resident of Mukhtarkhel Landikotal visited the Landikotal press club on Tuesday along with the relevant documents to make a passionate appeal for the financial assistance to get his nine-year-old son, Imran, treated. He said his 11 other children have died of the same disease and how his last son was suffering from the same complicated illness.
"My nine-year-old son Imran has been suffering from lethal liver disease since last eight
years which doctors advised for a major surgery as soon as possible for which i need rupees 3.5 million", said the father of ailing child.

Afzal said his son was attending school for three days and later fell ill he dropped out as he could not move most of the time due to acute pain and weakness of his body.
" I have sold out all my belongings and have borrowed a huge amount for his son treatment but his condition is yet to improve", Afzal while broken into tears told reporters.
