Cheques distributed among heart patients in Khyber


LANDIKOTAL: Officials of the Khyber agency political administration distributed Rs. 30, 6400 among the 16 heart patients hailing from Khyber Agency.

Assistant political agent Landikotal, Khalid Mumtaz Kundi, on Wednesday distributed checques on the behalf of the Khyber agency political agent.The patients including two each children and women were handed over the cheques as per their demanded amounts, the sources said.

Speaking on the occasion, Khalid Mumtaz Kundi said PA Khyber also promised him to give more money to the several other deserving patients from Khyber Agency.

Parents of the two minors, nine-year old Tayyab and four year old Ismaeel, thanked PA Khyber said that now they would be able to take proper medical treatment from doctors and if necessary they would also operate heart surgery of their children as they have money now.

Talking to this scribe on phone, PA Khyber Mutahirzeb, said that excluding this amount he had also donated 0.94 million rupees from the PA welfare fund among the heart and other patients during the last eight months.  He said that he had also funds for the Kidney, thalassemia, hepatitis and cancer patients from which dozens of patients have so far benefited.
