Local demanded action against veterinary doctor

LANDIKOTAL: Local people and pets owners alleged the veterinary doctor in the Landikotal was not coming to his duty for the last one year.
Talking to reports, pets owners, Munir Afridi, Muhammad Ayaz, Shakir Afridi, Muqadar Shah Afridi and Khalid Khan, said that they have been visiting the veterinary hospital in Landikotal since last one year but they did not found the doctor on duty.
“Whenever he came to the hospital he saw a veterinary assistant was preforming duty as doctor” Muqtadar Afridi alleged. Munir Afridi said that maximum free medicines were being sold in the open bazaar. He said that a large numbers of their pets including cows and goats had been died of the wrong medicines prescribed by the veterinary assistant.  
They alleged the officials for have links with the doctors said that several complaints were lodged in the assistant political agent official but no avail.
They demanded of the Political Agent Khyber, Mutahir Zeb and high officials of the Livestock to take serious steps against the alleged doctors.
When the doctor, Khurshid Khan, was contacted said that he was performing his duty with honesty. He rejected the allegations that he sold government medicines in open bazaar said that government allot them a small quantity of the medicines which could cover only few pets patients.
