Dozens of polio refused children administer polio drops in Landikotal

LANDIKOTAL: Assistant Commissioner of Landikotal Muhammad Imran Khan Saturday said that several parents in Landikotal who refused to vaccinate their children in the past were convinced and administered polio drops to dozens of their children.

Talking to The News Imran said he visited and met with the parents in Khugakhel and Khyber Sultankhel villages in Landikotal. He said thet talked with elders and the parents of the resfusals.
The official said he heard the parents and isssued directives to his staff to resolve their genuine problems. He said they want to completely wipe out polio virus from the country for which they had to work as team. Imran added that foolproof security has been provided to the polio teams to escort easch of the health team running polio campaign in Landikotal.He said the Khasadars and Levies force personnel have been deployed at various aeas to avoid mishaps during the anti polio drive.

Assistant Commissioner urged the residents especially youth to cooperate with the law enforcement agencies and local administeation so that they could ensure healthy children.

Assistant commissioner Imran also paid surprise visits to various state schools in Landikotal. He met with staff and students and asked about their problems.He checked the staff attendance book.He urged teachers to deliver the best possible services and contribute in prosperious Pakistan.
