LANDIKOTAL:The Khasadar force personmel conducted a raid on a den near the Landikotal degree collage and arrested three persons along with Ice drug,officials said on Tuesday.
Tehsildar Landikotal Shamsul Islam said that they received secrete information and constituded a raiding party. He said Line Officer Tikka Khan Afridi was directed who along with assistant Line Officer Ibrahim Shinwari conducted raid on the male guest house(Hujra) in Sheikhmalkhel. He said three persons identified as Zakir,Habibur Rehman and drugs dealer Attaullah were arrested on the spot and a Ice drug packs were recovered from their possessions. He said they were sent to jail and investigation started.
Shamsul Islam said they had arrested several drug addicted and dealers in the past one week. He said as such there was no law that define the Ice drug punishment as they were puzzled under which law they should treat the culprits. He urged the law makers to constitue a law without wasting time to save the youngsters lives from the lethal Ice drug.
WHEELCHAIRS DISTRIBUTED: Alkhidmat foundation distributed wheelchairs among 16 disabled persons in Landikotal. A ceremony was held in which a large number of people,officials and civil society members.Shamsul Islam was the chief guest who distributed the wheelchairs.
