LANDIKOTAL: At least three persons including an Ice cream seller and two children injured when a bomb fixed in a small soft drink cane went off in Sultankhel area of Landikotal tehsil in Khyber tribal district,officials said on Monday.
Political tehsildar Landikotal told The News that unknown people had planted an Improvised Explosive Device in a small size of cane being used for soft drink.He said two children identified as Raziq and Furqan were around the vehicle of an ice cream seller when the blast occured. He said it was not clear to them so far who gave the explosive packed cane to the ice cream seller.
The official said all the three had received minor injuries as the nomb was of a low extensive. The injured ice cream seller and the two children were shifted district headquarters hospital in Landikotal wherefrom they were taken to Khyber Rifles headquarter for investigation.
