Journalist dies of cardiac arrest

LANDIKOTAL: Kamal Khan Shinwari, senior tribal journalist, died of cardiac arrest on Saturday night. He was 45.

The sudden death of the seasoned journalist has shocked the journalists across Fata and Khyber Pakbunkhwa. Members of the Tribal Union of Journalists looked obviously shaken when they heard about the sudden death of their senior colleague.

TUJ president Mehboob said in a statement that the sudden death of Kamal had shaken journalists' community.

Qazi Fazlullah said that Kamal Khan Shinwari was suffering of asthma problem sine long.He said Kamal was admitted in Agency Headqurters Hospital in Landikotal two days ago.He said that all of a sudden his health got worsen and breathed his last in the hospital around 6:30pm. Doctors said heart attack caused death of Kamal Shinwari.
He left behind eight children and a widow to mourn his death.The elder son of the slain journalist had died a month ago when a iron-made window fall down in him a month ago.

The funeral prayer of the slain journalist would be offered today(Sunday) and would be laid to rest in Sheikhmalkhel graveyard on Sunday
