29 injured in Khyber traffic violation

LANDIKOTAL:Three each women and children among twenty passengers were injured in two traffic incidents in Torkham and Landikotal,sources said on Wednsday.
In the first incident, the sources said, fifteen passengers were injured when a passmgers' coach(1139) head on collided with taxi cabs bearing registrations numbers (749)and (8474).

Meanwhile, in the same kind of traffic accedent, five persons including three children were injured when two cars (2203)and (3327) hit each other.

Rush driving and uncontrol traffic cause road accidents on the newly built Peshawar-Torkham highway.
All the injured persons were rushed to Agency headquarters hospital in Landikotal.
One of the injured woman identified as Jan Bibi was shifted to hospital in Peshawar.
Four traffic incidents happened in Ladikotal during the last two days in which twenty-nine persons have been injured.

It may be added here that Peshawar-Torkham highway had recently completed but the Khyber Agency administration yet not deployed traffic wardens to implement traffic laws and regulations.
