Pak-Afghan citizens urged to work for peace

LANDIKOTAL: "People in Pakistan and Afghanistan have common culture and way of life as the cultural socities of both the neighbouring countries  could play a vital  role to  to connect people across the border",said head of the Afghan culture forum.
The Afghan culture forum members were taking to reporters here on Pak-Afghan border Torkham on Friday.They said that both the Pakistan and Afghanistan have close cultural ties which could be used to bring back long lasting peace across the border.
A 26 members Afghan delegation,including youth and media persons Friday entered Pakistan via Torkham border where Pakistani officials received them.
 Ghafur Ahmad Javed,head of the Afghan delegation, said that people of both the countries have common culture,tradition and way of life.Helping to bring back people of both the countries,the Afghan official said utilizing such social tool both the countries could have a cordial relation.Ghafur urged the Pakistani citizens and cultural societies to participate in the seminar scheduled in Nishtar hall Peshawar on Saturday(today)
Haji Muhammad Wali and Akbar,the Afghan culture forum member,said people of both countries want peace and prosperity in the whole region. The Afghan officials urged the Pakistan and Afghanistan governments to resolve their political differences so that it could help stronger brotherhood between the citizens. 
Akbar said Peace was inevitable for development which would boost up economy of the whole region.
They said that it was the main objective of Pak-Afghan people’s forum to bring its people together and pressurize both governments to play their role for bring peace in the whole region.
