LANDIKOTAL: After hearing the Jamrud people’s problems the
other day, the Khyber Agency political Agent Shahab Ali Shah has conducted Koli
Kachehri(open court session) in Landikotal and he directed the officials for
early settlement of pending cases.
A large number of elders, political party leaders, youth, media
men and members of the civil society were gathered around PA Shahhab Ali Shah in
the political administration compound on Tuesday. Shahab heard people’s
problems and assured them for speedy justice.
Despite the other local elders, Awami National Party (ANP)
Landikotal president Shah Hussain Shinwari,Malik Tajuddin, Gran Badshah
Shalmani and Jamat-e-Islami Fata Ameer Zarnoor Afridi also spoke on the
occasion. They highlighted issued being faced by the local people. Shah Hussain
said that Agency Headquarters was lacking several specialists’ doctors. He said
that millions of rupees equipments were
have been installed in the hospital but due to lack of technical staff it were
not operational.
The official was asked to install
solar system in all tube wells so that people could get water at their door
steps.
The elders demanded of the
political agent always take all the local elders into confidence before taking
any action against any person or tribe. They said that all possible cooperation
of the local elders would be with the authorities to eliminate anti-social
elements from the area.
Shahab Ali Shah urged the
Shinwari,Zakhakhel and Shalmani tribesmen that shun their internal differences
and get unit against all those who want to disturb the peaceful environment of
Khyber Agency.
Earlier, PA Khyber along with assistant political Agent
Muhammad Tayyab Abdullah conducted surprise visits to the Agency Headquarters hospital
and government degree collage in Landikotal and inspected different sections.
He checked all the official record and directed the hospital administration to
insure hundred percent attendance of all employees. PA Khyber hand over keys of
an Ambulance to Landikotal hospital on the spot.On the complaints of students
PA Khyber constituted a committee to inquire Rs 8.5 million embezzlement in the
collage repairing and renovation tender.
It may be added here that PA Khyber for the first time in
history started a series of public meetings in all three tehsils to hear their
long awaited issues and resolve it as early he can.
Liquor and stolen
bikes recovered: taking action of
the information of the Peshawar police, Mulagori tehsildar raided a house in Zaga
area Pendi Lalma of Mulagori. Political tehsildar Shakeel Umerzai said that
they had received information about the outlaws in Zaga area. He said that they
raided a house of one Rehmat Ali and recovered 96 bottles different brand of
wine and two motorbikes from the house.
Shakeel said that house inmate Rehmat Ali was apprehended on
the spot while his brother Dabang was in Peshawar police custody
