Landikotal Karate player selected for 15th Asian tournament commencing from 20th of Sep,in Malaysia





LANDIKOTAL: Two martial art officials and a Karate player, all hailing from Khyber Agency, have been inducted in the Pakistani martial art squad who will participate in “15th Asian Full Contact Karate Tournament” scheduled in Kulalampur Malaysia next month, Karate officials said.

Muhammad Arshad Jan, Pakistan’s martial art federation president made this announcement here on Monday while talking to local reporters in Landikotal. He said that they had organized a training camp held in Lahore where a large number of Karate players from Pakistan participated. He said after a tough training they selected  Noor Aslam Shinwari who would be the team member participating in the 15th Asian Full Contact Karate Tournament commencing from September 20th next month. Arshad Jan said former world Karate players Hayat Nazir Shinwari and Farhad Shinwari were also selected as coach and technical trainer respectively for the Pakistani team.
The trounment, Arshad Jan said, would be open for Asian for all the countries across the world. He said Newzeeland, Australia and European countries would also participate in the tournament.
 The official said that tournament would start from 20th and final matches would be played on 23rd September in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia.
“It was an honor for the whole Fata people that three of the Pakistan’s martial art team members have been taken from Khyber Agency”,said Jan. He appealed from the KP Governor, Khyber Agency Political Agent and Fata Olympic Association to provide financial assistance to the selected players and coaches so that they could insure their participation in the International
Noor Aslam Shinwari, who had also participated in Japan world Karate tournament last year, told The News on the occasion he would do his hard work and would bring medal for Pakistan.
