LANDIKOTAL: Seven persons, including Benuria Sajjada Nasheen were injured in a firing took place during a jirga held in Ashkhel area of Landikotal tehsil in Khyber Agency, local sources said on Sunday.
The sources said that a jirga between the two rival party was continued to resolved the land dispute when both the parties exchanged harsh words which led cross firing. As a results seven persons
including the reconcilator and Sajjad Naseen of Darbar-e-Alia Benuria Ashkhel Muhammad Ilyas alias Khan Lala sustained injuries. Arbab, Zabit, Zarmatullah,Yarmat Khan, Kamran and Hamza were critically injured.The injured persons were rushed to Agency Headquarters hospital in Landikotal wherefrom, one Hamza was referred to hospital in Peshawar due to his serious condition, hospital sources said.
As the incident occurred,Khsadar force personnel rushed to the site and controlled the situation.
