Tribal journalists urged to portray soft Fata image

LANDIKOTAL: The Khyber Agency administration officials have urged the tribal journalists to portray the soft image of the tribal belt so that the government, national and International organizations could be encouraged to initiate mega developmental projects in the area
All this said by Assistant Political Agent (APA) Landikotal Muhammad Tayyab Abdullah while speaking to Landikotal based journalists here in Landikotal press club on Thursday.
 Tayyab said through media social evils could be discouraged to maintain long-lasting peace in the area. Adding that without the media support it would be a tough task form them to insure speedy justice and other help to the citizens.
APA said journalists were the eyes and ears of the people whose sacrifices rendered for the sake of country would not be ignored. He said that it was the time that journalists sincerely and honestly perform their duties.
The official assured the local journalists and said that administration would deliver them their moral and social cooperation. He said local journalists would be taken onboard regarding any major development in the area as access to information was the right of every citizen of Pakistan.
APA also distributed Eid goods among the deserving journalists hailing from Landikotal and pledged that he would double the package in the coming Eid.
