Two killed in Landikotal bomb blast

LANDIKOTAL: Two volunteers of Zakhakhel peace committee known as Tauheedul Islam(TI) were killed while three others sustained wounds when their vehicle was targeted with a roadside bomb in Bukar Mastak area of in Landikotal tehsil of Khyber Agency, local sources said.

The sources said that Tuesday morning a vehicles of Zakhakhel Amn committee locally known as Tauheedul Islam was on its routine patrolling when it hit a roadside bomb in Bukar Mastak area of Bazaar Zakhakhel. As a result, Two gunmen, identified as Karnal Khan Afridi and Arafat Khan Afridi died on the spot while three others were injured. As the incident happened dozens of TI volunteers and local residents rushed to the site and retrieved dead and injured persons from the damaged vehicles. The injured persons were rushed to hospitals in Peshawar.
