LANDIKOTAL: The numbers of polio cases in Khyber Agency have reached to 16 as another twelve months old child in Landikotal was confirmed polio infected,health sources said on Tuesday.
Tufail,1, son of Nadar Shah,resident of Mirdadkhel in Landikotal was suspected of polio virus some two months ago and his tests were sent to Islamabad,health officials said.They said that after the complete laboratory tests the boy was declared polio infected. It was first polio case in Landikotal this year while 16 in Khyber Agency,polio Khyber Agency Incharge Dr Sher Amin said.
