Four Nato tankers entered Afghanistan after five months

LANDIKOTAL: Four oil tankers, carrying fuel for US-led Nato forces in Afghanistan crossed Torkham border after five months,official sources said on Wednesday.

The sources said that the oil tankers reached Torkham border in a tight security arrangement and entered into Afghanistan. Drivers and transporters had denied to transport fuel and other US Armoured vehicles and equipments to Afghanistan via Torkham border after the growing attacks on the Nato supply-line some five months ago.
At least twelve drivers and their helpers have been killed in the attacks on Nato supply in Khyber Agency during the last one year, sources said.
