Girls school destroyed in Khyber

LANDIKOTAL:  The boundary-wall of the government-run girls' school was partially damaged when an explosive device went off in GPS in Jafar Killay in Landikotal subdivision in Khyber Agency, however, no casualty was reported, local and official sources said on Monday.

The sources said that unknown people had planted an explosive device inside the government girls primary school in Malik Jafar Khan Killay went off at 1am late Sunday night. As a result,the school boundary-wall partially damage in the blast,however, no human loses were reported as no one present at the premises of the school, the sources said. As the blast occurred in the school the local officials and BDS staff rushed to the site and collected the evidences. It was the 75th government and privately-run school destroyed in Khyber Agency.
