Bazaar Zakhakhel is not no go area for candidats:Officials

LANDIKOTAL: Assistant Returning Officer(ARO)Niaz Muhammad Monday said that Bazaar Zakhakel was open for all candidates to run their election campaign and they would provide foolproof security to candidates and media observers during their visits to polling stations on the election day in NA-43.

Talking to The News assistant commissioner of Landikotal Niaz Muhammad who has been given extra charge as assistsnt returning offer said that three major candidates including PTI have arranged their public gatherings and corner meetings in Bazaar Zakhakhel.

He rejected the rumour that bazaar Zakhakhel was a no go area and said that they were supporting election process to flurish democratic values in Landikotal. He said in the past few days supporters of different candidates have conducted their separate car rallies and corner meetings in Bazaar Zakhalhel.

Niaz said they have installed closed circut television camera(CCTV) in 22 sensitive polling stations in Landikotal.He said 14 polling stations in Bazaar Zakhakhel,five in Shalman and three in Landikotal were declared sensitive where they would deploy extra security contengents. He said  CCTV cameras were already installed in all polling stations in NA-43.

The official said a team of 10 to 12 Khasadars,levies and Khyber Rifles personnel would be deployed in the polling stations declared sensitive. However, eight security personnel were allocated to the rest of polling stations.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Malik Abdur Razaq Zakhakhel said they started their election campaign in Bazaar Zakhakhel only four days before the election. He said it was their fault that they ignored Bazaar Zakhakhel area for election campaign.He said they were optimistic that they would convince their supporters to cast vote for PTI candidate. He said hundreds of party flags hoisted in various parts of Bazaar Zakhakhel and met with people.
Shajee Gul Afridi election coordinator Malikzada Nadeem said they had meeting with Zakhakhel Amn committee Shura in Bazaar Zakhakhel the other day. He added that Zakhakhel Shura agreed with them to conduct their election activities anywhere in Bazaar Zalhakhel. He said all the far-flung areas including Bazaar Zakhakhel,Brug and Karamna areas were open for all kinds of election campaign.
