Orphans of a state-run school in Landikotal get Eid package


KHYBER AGENCY: Officials of the Landikotal administration distributed Eid package and cash among orphans of a state-run schools in Landikotal tehsil of Khyber Agency on Tuesday.

In this connection, a distribution ceremony was arranged at the Government Primary School(GPS) Shah Zamir Killay in Khyber area of Landikotal.A large numbers of students,teachers,local residents,parents and officials of the Landikotal administration attended the ceremony.

Political Tehsildar Landikotal Irshad Khan Mohmand was chief guest who handed over Eid packages and cash to the 11 orphans students of GPS Shah Zamir Killay in Landikotal.

Speaking on the occasion, tehsildar Irshad praised the precedent set by the school teachers. He said it would encourage those children who yet not enrolled in the schools. He said it would also motivate philanthropists and rich people to contributes on their parts and serve humanity.

Irshad Mohmand assured the school staff that on the behalf of the political Agent of Khyber Agency Khalid Mehmood and assistant political Agent of Landikotal Rahimullah Mehsud they would provide full financial support to all deserving students of the school.

The official urged parents to enroll their children in schools as today's child was their leader,engineer,doctor and president on their beloved country.

Head teacher of the school,Fazal Rahim Afridi, thanked officials for their moral and economical support with the deserving students. He said that his school was one of the a model school in Khyber Agency accommodated 350 intelligent and talented students of the area. He said his school's teachers were honest and work hard with the students so that they could shine in all field of life.
