LANDIKOTAL: A resident Landikotal Friday appeal to the highups to help release of his brother from the captors who had abducted him from Pak-Afghan highway in Jamrud six days ago.
Haji Irshad Zakhakhel and Haji Zahid Zakhakhel were speaking to a press conference here in Jamrud said that his brother Haji Mujahid was abducted on gun point in Jamrud when he was on his way to home in Landikotal. Irshad said Sher haji ,resident of Jamrud, and his gunmen stopped his brother near shell filling station in Jamrud and bundled him into their car and shifted him and his vehicle to their private jail.
To a question, he said that they did not knew that the Sher Haji had any dispute with their family.He said that if the captors had any dispute with them so it could be resolved through local elders' jirga.
Irshad said they also filed an application to the Jamrud assistant political agent Roshan Khan Mehsud for the early and safe release of their brother but in vain. He added that Haji Sher was an influential
of the area as Jamrud political administration hesitating to take action against him for the release of their brother.
The two brothers appealed from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa governor,political Agent Khyber and secretary Law and order to take action against the captors and get release their brother Muhajid from
their captivity.
