KHYBER AGENCY:
An elderly man was shot dead by his cousins after their children quarreled
with each other in Ashkhel area of Landikotal Tehsil in Khyber
Agency,local sources said on Thursday.
The sources said that
children of Abdullah and Qalam Gul families scuffled which led to an
exchange of harsh words between the two parties. After the
exchange of harsh words one Abdullah opened gun fire on his opponent and
killed a sixty-year-old Qalam
Gul on the spot.
As the incident occurred Assistant Political
Agent(APA) Muhammad Tayyab Abdullah sent Khasadar and Levy forces and
arrested the alleged killer Abdullah and him to Landikotal lock up.
It may be added here that Political Administration
of
Landikotal has strictly banned killing and injuring over land and other
minor disputes and imposed fine of Rupees1 million in case somebody
violate
