: The Khyber Agency Political Agent promoted
Subedar Ali Muhammad Shalmani as new Major of the Khyber Agency Khasadar
force while five other Khasadar officials got shoulder promotions.
A
ceremony was held at Khyber house on Friday where Political Agent
Khyber,Sayed Shahab Ali Shah,Additional political Agent,Ghulam Habib
Marwat and assistant political Agent Bara,Nasir Khan pinned stars and
badges to the promoted officials in Khyber House Peshawar.Ali Muhammad
was appointed new Major Khasadar force.The other promoted Khasadar
officials were Subedar Said Aslam Shalmani,Jamshid Ali as Naib
Subedar,Naoshad Ali Afridi as Naib Subedar and Andaz Gul was appointed
as Naib Subedar.Notification of the promotion was sent to all concern
departments and offices.
