FATA: US drone fired two missiles on a compound in Dandy Darpakhel area of North Wazirstan Agency and killed Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan Ameer Hakimullah Mehsud and five of his top commanders,local sources said.
Safdar Hayat Dawar said that US pilotless aircraft fired two missiles arround 8pm on Hakimullah Mehsud,the TTP head and his five top ranking commanders as they reached the home from somewhere else.Quoting the official and tribal sources,Dawar said that Hakimullah was targeted with two missiles when he and his commanders came from somewhere else and were entering the home they recently got on rent.
Rasool Khan,an other resident said that driver of Hakimullah Mehsud,identified as Abdullah and his guard Tariq were also among the dead persons killed in the twin missiles attack.He said one of Hakimullah's uncle,whose name could not be ascertained,was also killed in the attack. Local people,pleading anonymity confirmed the killing of TTP head and said that they would be laid to rest Saturday at 3am. Dandy Darpakhel is a small village some two kilometers from main Miranshah city.On the other hand,talking to private TV channels interior Minister,Chohdri Nisar has said that they so far not conformed that whether Hakimullah was among the slain persons,
