Parliamentarians demand reinstatement of sacked radio emplyees

LANDIKOTAL: Fata parliamentarians have formally lodged request to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa governor Engineer Shaokatullah Khan to issue orders for the reinstatement of those 24 Fata Radio employees who had been terminated some two and half months ago.
 
A joint application filed by MNA Shahji Gul(NA-45),Sajid Hussain Toori(NA-37),Haji Nasir Khan Afridi(NA-46)Maulana Jamaluddin(NA-42) and Muhammad Nazir (NA-40) had  submitted the at the KP governor's house requested for the immediate reinstatement of the sacked 24 employees.

The Fata MNAs also appreciated the governor’s interest in the reopening of the three Fata radio stations closed down due to lack of funds. The application,sent to the KP governor for action, also mentioned that the governor house had issued the decision on June 13, 2013, to reinstate the sacked employees but so far the concern officials in Fata secretariat could not materialize it.
 
The Fata parliamentarians have highlighted the sacked employees’ efforts who served for Razmak, Miran Shah and Khyber Radio stations for the last ten years renderingany difficulties and faced hardship. It further said that these employees have no other option to apply for other jobs as they have got over-age. The Fata parliamentarians have asked Fata secretariat officials that a budget of 6.2 millions have been allocated in PC-1 but neither new appointment was made nor the sacked employees were reinstated. The recently elected Fata parliamentarians requested the governor to direct the Fata secretariat officials to find the long lasting decision in this regard in the larger public interest.
