MNA raids on Khyber hospitals,offices













LANDIKOTAL:Member of the National Assembly  from  NA-45 and Khyber Agency  officials on the second day continued raids on the hospitals and other government installations in Landikotal and Jamrud subdivisions of Khyber Agency.


MNA Al-Haj  Shaji Gul  paid surpirse visits to  agency Headquarters hospital in Landikotal,Landikotal grid station, Jamrud civil hospital,Jamrud lockup and education offices.Shaji Gul took notices of the weak points and advised for better service to the people. He was displeasure over the lack of facilities in the hospitals and  lock-up for the detainees.Shaji Gul met with several detainees and assured them for their release.MNA also raided on the medicine store in the Jamrud Civil hospital and took notice of the expired and substandard medicines.Earlier, Jamrud assistant political agent,Jahangir Azam, paid visit to Jamrud hospital and found seven doctors including three female doctors  absent from their duties.APA personally checked the employees' attendance book and order inquiry against the absent doctors. Jahangir Azam,told the reporters that they had conducted raids on the directives of Khyber Pakhunkhwa governor to make sure the hundred per cent attendance  in the governmentoffice. He said that report had been sent to Fata directorate against  the absent employees.Meanwhile,Landikotal assistant political agent,Dr Azmat Wazir also raided on the Agency Headquarters Hospitals in Landikotal and found several doctors absent from their duties.Wazir said that most of the absent doctors were locals hailing from Landikotal tehsil."The inquiry report has been sent to Fata health directorate against the absent doctors and soon action would be taken,said Dr Azmat Wazir.He also  took notice of the deteriorated situation of health care facilities in the hospital.APA sent  recommendations to Fata health department for appropriate steps  for the betterment of the health facilities.Local people appriciated such visits both by the MNA and the officials said that it would insure quality of services in the government departments.
