IG-FC inaugurats heritage centre

















LANDIKOTAL: Inspector Genral  Frontier Corps(IG-FC) Major General Ghayoor Mehmood  has condemned the Afghan general's allegations on Pakistan and urged him to avoid such baseless statements at the high level which would disturb bilateral cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
All this said by Major General  Ghayoor Mehmoood while talking to local reporters after  the opening ceremony of cultural heritage center in Landikotal army garrison on Tuesday. 


 IG-FC  termed the Afghan Army General statement a violation and said that Pakistan always wanted peace and brotherly relations with the neighboring countries. "Tirah valley  is now cleared from all kinds of anti-social elements and soon the displaced families would be returned to their homes in Tirah valley", said Ghayoor.

IG praised the the hectic efforts of Col,Fayyaz said that he had performed his duty as a brave soldier while bringing back peace in the area. He urged the local people   to cooperate the security forces for defending the beloved mother land.
He asked the FC officials and local people to preserved the local culture and heritage. "You should focus on your cultural heritage and discourage anti-state elements. IG vowed they  would brig different developmental and cultural schemes. Pakistan Army officials were keen to establish suitable environment for the government to initiate different uplift schemes.
"Khyber agency is very important strategic place in subcontinent whose people have to support with the security forces to curb militancy and  restore  peace in the area",Gen, Ghayoor said .
Earlier, IG-FC cut the rabin of the cultural heritage in Army garrison where different types of cultural items in musical instruments were placed. Despite a score of local elders,  FC commondant colonel Fayaz, assistant political agents Landikotal and Jamrud were also present on the occasion.
