LANDIKOTAL: The security forces defused two roadside bombs in Ashkhel area of Landikotal subdivision in Khyber agency, official and local sources said on Saturday.
The sources said that unidentified people had planted two roadsides remote controlled bombs on Landikotal-Shalman road at Speen Jumat area of Landikotal. on the information, reached to the bomb disposal Unit, rushed to the site and were defused before it go off, sources said. it could have brought several human casualties if the blasts occurred as the road was regularly used by the security forces and local people, an official on the condition of anonymity told this scribe.
